Catch Up Blog

I got a little behind when I found out I was pregnant in October, so this is my attempt at a catch-up blog.

Jonathan turned 15 months on January 17th, and here are some pictures from the last three months showing our adventures.

But first, a quick update on Jonathan:  He still weighs around 22 pounds (10th %)  and he is 31 3/4  inches long (75th %).  He is talking more and more every day.  His favorite words are Ma-ma, Da-da, puppy ("puh-pah"), (ba)na-na, bu-bble, ba-by, pe-ople, night night ("nigh-nigh"), and ball. He also has several words that he says regularly that are all his own unique language ("bweh" has been a favorite for some time). He loves music and will dance to most anything. He is full of personality and remains a very smiley guy.

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Oklahoma in October.

The Oklahoma City Zoo:

We attended a football game at Papaw's school.  Jonathan had a blast.

When he wasn't watching the game he was chasing after the cheerleaders.  :)

Do we have a future football player on our hands?

Adam at his soccer game.

Jack and his funny faces.

While we were in Oklahoma we shared with the family that we were expecting baby number two.  Jonathan told everyone by wearing his Big Brother shirt.

Because we made two quick trips to OKC and back in late October-early November, we got to know the Minneapolis airport quite well.  We were grateful for the kids play land in the next terminal over.

Here's Jonathan's halloween costume.  We were in Oklahoma for Halloween, but I could't resist putting him in the pumpkin outfit when we got home.

Playing with Daddy.

Aren't they adorable?

Jonathan loves his trips outside with Daddy in the carrier.

For Thanksgiving we had our good friends Sara and Jason over.  We had a fabulous meal.

(Jason doing an impression of Andy . . . . )

One kitchen cabinet is left unlocked, so Jonathan can play with the Tupperware inside. . . .

Aunt Nat gave Jonathan his first haircut over Christmas.  Here is his first haircut in a salon.  For the most part, he was a real trooper!
