18 Month Update

Jonathan turned 18 months old on April 17th.  I know I say this with every milestone, but I really can't believe he is already a year and a half old.  He is a healthy and happy little guy.  He weighs 23.4 pounds (15%), and is 33 1/4 inches (75%)  He is talking more and more all the time and we love hearing him learn how to pronounce new words.  It is really nice that he can communicate a little more with us.  The past three months have been busy, so here is our attempt at catching up.

Mimi came to visit in January for a couple of weeks.  She was a huge help and cared for Jonathan a lot while Andy and I worked.

Finger painting.

Fun at the park.

In February Jonathan and I flew to Atlanta to see Ashley.  We had a fabulous time with all her boys!

My sleeping boys.

Learning to eat with a spoon.

Our ultrasound on February 13th.  It's a boy!

Here I am at 22 weeks.

UD Basketball game.

Jonathan took swim lessons at UD.  He did great.

Jonathan was dedicated on March 10th.  We were a little nervous to see how he would do since he was a little older than most kids getting dedicated, but he did great!  He walked up and down the aisle with our pastor.

The Bryant's came in town during their spring break. We had a wonderful time and we were so glad they were able to be here for Jonathan's dedication.

We took a trip to the Columbus Zoo (here's my sister and I in front of an Okapi).

Luke, Anna, and Reid were thrilled when we ran into Jack Hannah at the zoo.

Me at 26 weeks.

Sara and Jason very generously flew us to Oklahoma for Easter.

Jack-Jack's birthday party was at a gym. Jonathan had such a great time on the trampoline and running around the entire gym.

Easter Sunday.

We had lunch at Jason's parents' house and then all of the boys enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.
(We can't remember why Uncle Jason isn't in the picture . . . .)

This sailor suit was Andy's when he was a little boy.  It wasn't warm enough to wear it for Easter, but we put Jonathan in it at home when we gave him his Easter treats.

Easter egg hunt with friends.

Jonathan goes nuts over the bubble machine.

I got away for a weekend in Dallas with my roommates.  It was great fun and a nice break. I missed my boys a lot, but Mimi was here to keep them in line.
