Micah is 10 Months

Here is our happy ten-month-old.  Can't believe he is only two months from being a year old!  He currently weighs 19 pounds, 14 ounces.  He is getting around where he wants to go. He is all-but crawling, but prefers to roll..  His favorite food is still Mama's milk though he occasionally enjoys yogurt or fruit. He seems to prefer food when it is his idea, so anything on a spoon isn't a big hit.  We give him puffs and he has eaten a few, but he usually just likes to play with them.  Micah's favorite activity is still watching his brother and Jonathan can get him laughing better then anyone--which often undermines Mommy and Daddy's attempts to reinforce good behavior from big brother.....especially at the table!

Micah and I spent a week in Amarillo after my mother had knee surgery:

Aunt Janice was in Amarillo for our first couple of days.  It was great to see her!

Micah and Lanie, my mom's very good friend.

Micah and Grandpa.

Micah and Grandma.  She doesn't look like she just had surgery, does she?

Micah's first time in the Nelson high chair.  This was mine (and my sister's) as a baby.

The King family bed.

Happy to be back home.

Fun at the park.

Micah is 9 Months

I am embarrassed to admit that I drafted this post a month ago but never got it finished.  Oops.

Micah continues to be our smiley and happy little guy. He weighs 19 pounds 2 ounces (30%) and is 28 1/4 inches long (50%).  He seems bigger to me but he is right at the size his brother was at this age.  He now has 8 teeth (4 top and 4 bottom).  He is rolling all over the floor and can pretty much get where he wants to go.  He thinks his brother is hilarious and he is often seen watching him in the car as we drive around town.  Micah is still not really excited about baby food, but since the doctor says he is gaining weight just fine, we aren't too worried.  Here are our favorites from this month:

As Jonathan likes to say: "two brothers."

Bundled up for an outing to the park.  Spring wasn't coming fast enough but we were getting out anyway.

This was Micah's first time in the Burley.  He seemed to like it pretty well.  Hopefully we will have a lot of fun with both boys in this during the summer.

Bedtime.

Easter Sunday.

Easter baskets.

Stay tuned for a 10 month post soon!
