"Spring" Break

Our original spring break (last week of February) plan was to drive to Arkansas and back to visit Andy's parents.  Due to a winter storm, we ended up traveling south and that allowed us to add an impromptu trip to Hallsville, TX to see Natalie and her family. This meant that we drove through nine different states by the time we returned to Ohio!

We gave Natalie and Scott only three hours' notice that we were coming, so we were thrilled that they were able to have us. We had a wonderful weekend with them and loved seeing their beautiful new home.

Playing football in the front yard.

Luke had basketball and soccer games while we were there.

Trains. Jonathan was fascinated for hours by this.

Isn't Anna beautiful, and doesn't she look all grown up?

Baseball in the back yard.

After the weekend we headed to Bella Vista, AR. We had a few days with just Mimi and Pawpaw before Sara, Adam and Jack joined us.

Jonathan had been talking about playing golf with Pawpaw since Donny was in Dayton back in January.  He loved it even though it was FREEZING outside.

Jack and Adam brought Jonathan part of their Thomas the Train set to take home with us.  It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip for Jonathan.  He still plays with it everyday.

More golf.

Micah is 8 Months

Micah is 8 months old. He weighs about 18 and a half pounds. As you will see below, he is the smiley-est baby!  He is super happy these days and loves sitting up. He loves watching his brother and he enjoyed his first swimming trip last month. He is starting to lean forward more and more, but, honestly, I am in no rush to encourage crawling.  :)

As Jonathan likes to say: "two brothers."

Brother bath. This can be quite a crazy time, but the boys like bathing together.

Micah and his good friend Emma.

Valentine treats.

Swimming at the UD Recplex.
