Micah is 4 Months

Sadly, I am posting this so late that Micah is now closer to 5 months than 4. But hey, I am a mom of two young children, so at least it is getting posted!  :)

Micah is settling into life more and more every week. We still wouldn't call him the easiest baby on the planet, but he is doing so much better all the time. At his 4 month check-up he weighed 12 lb. 11oz. (10th%) and was 24 in. (25%). He still doesn't have much hair, so I occasionally call him Peach Fuzz.  He is starting to laugh more and more and it is most often his brother that he thinks is funny.  I couldn't feel more blessed by this little boy.

Trip to the Cincinnati Zoo.

So big!

At the park for Jonathan's birthday party with Mimi and Papaw.

Big brother and little brother.

Hayride with our church.

Jonathan asks to hold Micah all the time now, and he always wants their picture taken when he does.

Trick or treat night in Dayton. We stayed home and just passed out candy. It was *cold* and rainy!

Halloween night in Waco. Jonathan loved being a Dalmatian puppy.

Micah with Roman, my friend Elaine's son.  They are just a few weeks apart.

Stay tuned for more from our big trip to Texas and part two of Jonathan's 2-year-old post.

Jonathan is 2! Part 1

Jonathan is 2 years old and we can't believe it.  He keeps us extremely busy, is full of life, and in full two-year-old spirit, he is into everything.  His vocabulary has exploded over the last month, and he can say pretty much anything he wants.  He is extremely polite, always saying please ("bees") and thank you ("bwey too") and he is very affectionate with his family, especially kissing his brother.  Jonathan definitely has a stubborn streak and often laughs at us when we try to tell him no. He is extremely curious, energetic, and just as smiley as ever. At his two-year well check he weighed 26 pounds (25%) and was 35 3/4 inches (80%).  We love our little two year old!

Here are a few pics from the last three months.:

Great Aunt Janice and Grandma. We were waiting on little brother to make his entrance.

One final picture of the family of three. I was in labor when this was taken but didn't know it yet.

Our first picture as a family of four.

I love this shirt, because it could not be more true!

Before the weather turned cold Jonathan's favorite thing to do in the evenings with Daddy was to go ride in the Burley.

Brothers.

Mimi Sue and Pawpaw.

We took a trip out to Young's Dairy while Sue and Donny were in town.  Jonathan wasn't too sure about the goats...

but he loved driving the tractor!

Part Two ..... coming soon.
