Micah turned two months old September 2nd. I am quite slow in getting this blog posted, which seems pretty typical since Micah is a second child. :)
Micah is quite the handful, but he's doing well and getting a little easier every day. He has his fussiest moments at night, but thankfully we have more good nights now than rough ones.
At his appointment he weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces (5th %) and he was 23 inches (47th %). It seems we have another boy that will be fairly tall and skinny. The doctor was a little concerned about Micah's weight gain before his two month appointment, but thankfully he gained enough that his worrying subsided. We are still trying to supplement with a nightly bottle, but Micah isn't that interested in bottles. Jonathan didn't like bottles either. I guess my boys just prefer their Mama. I am extremely grateful that I get to be home full-time for many reasons, but especially since Micah won't take a bottle easily.
He is starting to smile more and more and he has the cutest little grin. When I look at Micah everyday I still can't believe he is mine and that I have been blessed with two children. God is good!
Jonathan doesn't like to be left out.
First bath in the bath tub.
Don't I have a serious face?
Touchdown.
Our good friends Sara and Jason came over one night for dinner. Their daughter Emma is a few weeks older then Micah.
Jonathan loves hanging out with Sara and talks about baby Emma all the time.
Tummy time.
Brothers! This picture is a little misleading since most of the time that Micah is on the floor Jonathan is trying to be right on top of him.
Aunt Sara came to stay with us for a long weekend. We were thrilled to have her with us, and she was a big help. Sara knows all about little boys and Jonathan had a great time playing with her.
We love you Aunt Sara!
Is it just me or is he looking completely different than his brother? Does he have more 'Black' family in him? Because I feel Jonathan is a lot of 'Nelson'. No matter, precious boys! Miss you!!
ReplyDeleteLove the new photos, Jen! He's so sweet! I particularly love the one of Mama Jen with her boys on the couch. God is good!
