Micah is 5 Months

Micah turned five months on December 2nd.  When we weighed him on the Wii it said he was about 12 1/2 pounds, but we're pretty sure he's heavier than this.  Micah is a very smiley guy these days and laughs often (at least when he isn't having gas trouble).  He loves playing with his toes and is getting into toys more and more.  He cut his first two teeth this month, one the day before Thanksgiving and one the day after.  It was a painful process, so we are glad that no other teeth seem to be coming right away.

This was a busy month, and here are the pictures to prove it.

We had the boys pictures taken by a semi-professional.  Here are some favorites of Micah.

Micah turned 5 months while we were in Waco. We had a great time with my family. Even though traveling with two children alone is definitely not easy, we were really glad that everyone got to meet Micah.

Grandma

Grandpa.  This was his first time to meet Micah.  Micah shares Grandpa's middle name of Louis -- which was also the name of Grandpa's father. Micah has a lot to live up to, because Grandpa is a pretty wonderful guy!

The weekend we were in Waco was Baylor's homecoming.  This is us with Grandpa on campus.

We got to spend some great time with Jordan, Hutch and Cora.  Hutch and Micah are 6 weeks apart.  We know they will be great friends!

We still have to watch these two really closely to make sure big brother doesn't wrestle with Micah.

Tummy time isn't Micah's favorite.

Andy's family came in town for Thanksgiving and it was great to have them all here with us for a few days:

We got all of our pictures taken for the first time in several years.  Here are a few from our photo shoot.

Andy defended his dissertation in early November. We are so proud of him. Occasionally I have Jonathan call him Dr. Daddy.

  1. We LOVED meeting Micah and are so glad you hauled your cookies all the way down to TX.

Way to go, Andy! So stinking proud of you.

And Natalie, if you are reading this, please stop letting your children grow up so fast. They look SO grown up in these pictures. I can't believe it.
